Attendance Policy
*
VOCO Elite sessions are 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. on Mondays at St. Elizabeth's School (1800 Pontiac St., Denver) unless announced otherwise.
Strong session attendance is critical for each student's success and for the success of the whole group. Students who miss two or more weekly sessions in one concert cycle may not be allowed to perform in that cycle's concert. Persistent attendance problems will result in their permanent removal from VOCO Elite.
I will respect the decision-making discretion of the VOCO staff if they decide my student should not perform or needs to be removed from the program because of poor attendance.

Fees (read carefully)
*
At VOCO, we believe every student should have the opportunity to step into their power with us regardless of their family’s financial situation. At the same time, we also believe that families who find value in our programs should also find it fair and reasonable that they be asked to contribute toward making our programs possible as they absolutely require dollars, volunteer efforts, and community championing to make them go.
Here is how we will approach VOCO Elite fees this year. Invoices will be sent in October. If these are still too much for your family, or you'd like to work out a payment plan in October, we can absolutely make that happen. Email Emily at contact@vocalcoalition.org and we'll set up a time to talk.
SUPPLIES: $195. $195 per student will cover the general "hard costs" of your student's VOCO involvement: T-shirts, their VOCO Elite jersey, some food/event costs, and more.
ONE CITY WORLD TOUR: around $600. From April 22-26, 2026, VOCO Elite will embark on a "One City World Tour" across the Denver Metro Area. Over the course of the tour, we will perform at several schools, do some fun shenanigans around town together, and will still stay in hotels to experience the tour vibe and valuable training. Not only will this be an awesome way for students to bond, grow massively as performers, and get to know our city, it will also prepare us for the dream of an international VOCO performance tour in the 2026-27 season (probable international destination as voted on by VOCO Elite youth last year: Australia and New Zealand.). We'll send invoices in November and January to split up the costs for this tour, or you can pay in one fell swoop.
Instead of program fees, we would like to ask families to make a donation to VOCO later this fall at a level that feels comfortable to you. It costs around $1,000 per kid per year to make VOCO go, so think about that as you consider a donation. $1,000 covers one student, $2,000 covers two kids whose families might not be able to pay, etc. Donations are encouraged and appreciated this year, and any help you can offer us that might connect us with possible supporters is massively appreciated.
